As the Australian Industrial Hemp Alliance (AIHA) operates within a Regulatory Framework in each Australian state or territory, individuals and corporate members applying for membership must not have had a serious criminal conviction in the past 10 years and will be asked to sign the declaration at the end of the AHIA Membership Application Form.
Membership is open to individuals over the age of 18 years, Hemp Industry Associations and organisations, and Industrial Hemp businesses and associated companies. The Alliance is incorporated under the NSW Associations Incorporation Act 2009.

AIHA CLASSES OF MEMBERSHIP AND ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES
- ORDINARY MEMBERSHIP– $220 (inc GST). Entitled to one vote.
- CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP – $550 (inc GST) (Companies must nominate their elected representative and notify AIHA who the representative is). The representative will vote on behalf of the company). Corporate members will be able to have their logos displayed on the AIHA website and will be given prior notification of enquiries made to the AIHA that could be of commercial benefit. Corporate Members will have their profile shown publicly on the website. Entitled to one vote.
- HEMP ASSOCIATIONS (AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP) – $220 (inc GST) (Hemp Associations or organisations must nominate their elected representative and notify AIHA who the representative is. The representative will vote on behalf of the Association or organisation.) The Affiliate Member will be entitled to one vote.
- ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP – $55 (inc GST). No voting entitlement.

The AIHA treats all members with respect and expects members to treat other members with respect. The AIHA has a zero tolerance policy toward bullying or illegal behaviour. Any instances of either will be presented to the organisation/individual in question, and they will be given an opportunity to respond. AHIA will then take action as deemed appropriate by the Executive Committee.
